Both. Every issue is categorized as grammar, spelling, punctuation, clarity, style, or word choice. You can see the counts by category, and each issue comes with the original phrase, the suggested fix, and a one-sentence explanation of why. You decide which fixes to accept.
Does the corrected version rewrite my content?
No. The system prompt explicitly instructs the model to fix only real errors and preserve the author's voice and sentence structure. If you want a full rewrite in a different tone, use the Paragraph Rewriter tool instead.
How long a piece can I check at once?
Up to 5,000 characters per check - roughly 800-900 words. For longer articles, split the work paragraph by paragraph. Shorter chunks usually surface cleaner issue lists anyway, because the model can give each sentence more attention.
Can it flag things that are technically correct but awkward?
