Integrating with Framer

Integrating RankPill with your Framer project allows you to seamlessly sync your AI-generated content directly into your Framer CMS collections. This is achieved by using the official RankPill plugin for Framer, which pulls articles from your RankPill account and populates your CMS collection with article data including title, content, meta description, and featured images.

Before you begin, make sure you have:

• An active Framer project with CMS enabled
• A Framer CMS collection created for your blog posts
• Access to your Framer project settings

Connecting Your Framer Project

Navigate to Settings → Integrations in your RankPill dashboard and click on the Framer integration. An API key will be automatically generated and displayed. This key is unique to your business and required to authenticate your Framer project with RankPill.

Installing the Plugin

1. Open your Framer project
2. Navigate to the Insert menu
3. Search for “RankPill” in the Plugins section
4. Install the RankPill plugin

Configuring the Plugin

Once installed, drag the RankPill plugin from your assets onto your Framer canvas. The plugin's configuration panel will appear, prompting you for:

• API Key - Paste the API key from your RankPill dashboard
• CMS Collection - Select the Framer CMS collection you want to sync your articles with

After configuring the plugin, you can fetch articles from your RankPill account. The plugin allows you to filter articles by their status (e.g., published, generated), giving you control over which articles you want to bring into your Framer project.

How Syncing Works

The Framer integration is a sync CMS, which means articles sync directly to your Framer CMS collection and display instantly on your website once synced. No separate publishing step is required in Framer.

Important: Framer doesn't support automatic syncing due to platform limitations. You must manually click “Sync” in the Framer plugin to get new articles each time. After syncing articles, remember to manually update their status to “Published” in RankPill to track which articles are live on your site.
