After generating or editing an article, you might want to publish it manually on your own CMS. RankPill makes this easy by letting you copy your content in multiple formats – all in just a click.
How to Copy Content
Click "Copy as" in the top-right corner of the editor and choose your preferred format:
- Rich Text: Great for CMS editors like Webflow, Wix, or Squarespace.
- HTML: For full formatting control in code-based setups.
- Markdown: Best for platforms like Ghost, Notion, or developer tools.
What Gets Copied
When you use the "Copy as" function, the following elements are included:
- Full article content with structure and formatting
- Headings, lists, and links
- Embedded images (with alt text preserved)
- YouTube embeds, tables, and quotes
What Doesn't Get Copied (Manual Copy Required)
The following SEO metadata items are not included when copying the article content:
- Meta title
- Meta description
- Slug (URL path)
These are located in the editor's sidebar. If you're publishing manually, make sure to copy and paste these crucial elements into your CMS, as they are important for SEO performance.
Tip: After pasting into your CMS, double-check the formatting. Some platforms may adjust spacing, link styles, or media layout slightly.
