Connecting to Framer

Integrating RankPill with your Framer project allows you to seamlessly sync your AI-generated content directly into your Framer CMS collections. This is achieved by using the official RankPill plugin for Framer, which pulls articles from your RankPill account.

How to Set Up the Framer Integration

Follow these steps to connect your Framer project:

  1. Navigate to Framer Settings: In your RankPill dashboard, go to Settings > Integrations and click on the "Framer" integration.

  2. Generate Your API Key: On the Framer integration page, an API key will be automatically generated and displayed for you. This key is unique to your business and is required to authenticate your Framer project with RankPill.

  3. Install the RankPill Plugin: Open your Framer project. Navigate to the Insert menu, search for "RankPill" in the Plugins section, and install it.

  4. Configure the Plugin: Once installed, drag the RankPill plugin from your assets onto your Framer canvas. The plugin's configuration panel will appear on the right, prompting you for two things:

    • API Key: Paste the API key you copied from your RankPill dashboard.
    • CMS Collection: Select the Framer CMS collection you want to sync your articles with.
  5. Sync Your Articles: After configuring the plugin, you can fetch articles from your RankPill account. The plugin allows you to filter articles by their status (e.g., published, generated). This gives you control over which articles you want to bring into your Framer project.

How It Works

This integration works by having the Framer plugin "pull" data from your RankPill account.

  • The API Key securely authenticates the plugin, giving it read-only access to your articles.
  • From within Framer, you use the plugin to fetch a list of your articles from RankPill.
  • The plugin then populates your selected Framer CMS collection with the article data, including title, content, meta description, and more.

This process allows you to manage when and how articles are added to your Framer site directly from the Framer editor.
