Call-to-Actions (CTAs) are short, clickable messages that appear at the end of each article you generate with RankPill. They’re designed to nudge readers toward action – whether that’s checking out your product, signing up for a freebie, or visiting a key page on your site. You control what they say and where they link; RankPill handles picking the best fit for each article based on the topic.
How It Works
Inside Settings → Content Generation, you can add up to 12 CTAs.
Each CTA has two parts:
- A headline (what the reader sees).
- A URL (where they’re sent when they click).
When a new article is generated, RankPill automatically chooses one CTA from your list – the one that fits best with the article content and intent – and places it at the very end.
Example: If the article is about productivity tips, and you have a CTA like “Get the free template kit”, that one might be added automatically with the link you provided.
Why Use CTAs?
CTAs help your content do more than just inform – they help it convert. They’re useful for:
- Promoting your products, services, or tools.
- Driving traffic to landing pages, lead magnets, or newsletters.
- Turning readers into signups, leads, or customers.
Because they’re chosen intelligently for each article, they feel natural, not forced.
Managing Your CTAs
You can update your CTAs anytime from Settings → Content Generation:
- Add a new CTA (up to 12).
- Edit existing text or links.
- Remove outdated ones.
Important: Make sure to click Save Changes. Any updates only apply to articles generated after the change. Older articles won’t be retroactively updated.
Tips for Better CTAs
- Be clear and specific (“Start your free trial” works better than “Click here”).
- Keep them short (1 line is often enough).
- Use strong verbs (e.g., Start, Download, Try, Explore).
- Match the CTA goal to the article’s topic so it feels like a natural next step.
- A good mix of broad CTAs (like “See how [your brand] works”) and specific ones (like “Download the free checklist”) gives RankPill more flexibility to choose what fits best.
