After generating content, you can edit articles directly inside RankPill - whether you're fixing small issues, improving SEO, or adding your personal voice.
Our editor is built for speed, simplicity, and control. You don’t have to use it - but if you do, it’s designed to help you make changes fast, without breaking SEO performance.
Why (and When) to Edit
RankPill articles are designed to be publish-ready out of the box. But editing gives you full control if you:
- Want to polish tone or accuracy.
- See suggestions from the SEO Score you’d like to act on.
- Need to align content with a specific product or personal story.
- Just enjoy refining your content.
You don’t need to edit every article. But when you do, we make it seamless.
How the Editor Works
The editor is clean and distraction-free - designed to help you focus on what matters most. Here’s what you’ll find:
- Main Content Area: Write, edit, or rewrite text freely.
- Inline Toolbar: Format text (bold, links, headings, lists) when you highlight it.
- Right Sidebar: View SEO Score, keyword stats, article metadata (slug, meta title, description).
To add more elements (like images or embeds), just type "/" in a new line and choose what you need - you'll see a full menu of content blocks. There's no "+" button, so this step is important to know.
Tip: Uploading your own images? Make sure to add or edit the alt text - it helps SEO and accessibility.
Live SEO Feedback While You Edit
Every change you make is reflected in your SEO Score instantly. No guessing or reloading - the suggestions update in real time based on what you add or improve. You might see prompts like:
- "Add more internal links"
- "Insert images or media"
- "Improve keyword coverage"
- "Strengthen heading structure"
Each recommendation is actionable, and you can choose to follow them or not - your content is already strong. (Learn more about the Article Score.)
Smart Edits That Add Value
Not sure where to start? Here's what works well:
- Add personal insights: A few lines from your experience can elevate a post - "Here's what we've seen work best..." or "In our case..."
- Break up long blocks: Screenshots, visuals, or quotes help structure content and make it easier to scan.
- Embed trust-building content: Adding a chart, video, stat, or quick example gives your article more depth (and improves engagement).
Final Thoughts
You don't need to touch the editor if you're short on time - RankPill handles formatting, structure, and SEO for you. But if you want to make your content even better, the editor gives you total freedom - and the right tools to make confident edits fast.
